DIY chain denies interest in the former Burnham-on-Sea, Job Center

Speculation that the DIY chain Wilkinsons could soon opened a shop in Burnham-on-Sea has this week, the company denied.

The company had been rumored to buy Burnham former Job Center at the end of the High Street, here.

But Neil Brooks, a spokesman for the company, said Burnham-On-Sea.com on Wednesday: "There are no current plans to Burnham-on-Sea."


And Andy Broom of estate agents Lambert Smith Hampton, the advertising of the premises, there was no approach by the company.

"I can confirm that we have no contact from Wilkinsons for this property," he said.
