Designs’ range of build-your-own tables on show at the Design Nation stand at Summer Fair is heralding a return to DIY ethics. Early said that increasing economic pressures will force people to recapture the lost art of building skills in order to save money. He also said that he hopes the connection that people will make with the furniture through building it will help to tackle throwaway culture.

That’s what authorities are telling residents eager to celebrate the Fourth of July.
It’s against the law for individuals to set off fireworks, and Broomfield police want to get the word out.
“If it leaves the ground or explodes, it’s illegal,” Sgt. Colleen O’Connell said.
